Named in honor of the man himself, the pharmacist-father of our founding brewer-artist, we wouldn't be here without you.

Mashed overnight in an oak vat, Ralph is made of Mecca Grade Vanora malt, Skagit Valley Caramel malt, aged Goschie Farms Cascade hops, water from our Skyline aquifer, and microbes & fir boughs from our surrounding forest.

Open fermentation occurs in wooden vats prior to aging in Oregon pinot noir barrels from Domaine Drouhin. Over a year later, Ralph is transferred to a large barrel with fresh fir boughs prior to bottle fermentation with Oregon honey.

Bottles are aged 6 months minimum in our cellar prior to release.

Overall Impression(8/10):
橘色、澄清度低、白色酒帽量稍少。杯口的發酵酸香感飽滿、乳酸、葡萄、青梅輪廓清晰、深處帶少量的果皮與潮濕的木本感。入口酒體強度中等、碳酸稍低、酸韻生津但散去得快。入口發酵果感飽滿、帶明亮的柚皮、乳酸、芒果青、葡萄與清新的松針感,動物性的風土特徵相較下較少。酒花與麥芽主要為輔助前述果味、無顯著苦韻,桶陳的木質與單寧感輕盈。回溫後酸度會快速上升,但不至刮口。收尾乾,尾韻的發酵酸香感延續性優異、帶些水果的糖分拖味
